Wife has had an element for the past ten years. It's been a fantastic car. Sucks if you have little ones that you need to put in a car seat in the back. The back seat sits back so far you have to get up in there. But there's a huge amount of space in the back when you fold the seats up. Also the rear doors suck in general in tight parking spots. It's a bit light so even with awd I have to baby it in snow. Otherwise it's been great. Kept up on all the maintenance. Still on the original clutch at 175k miles. Mpg is in the high 20s on the highway. If we drive slower we can get better than 30. I've had it on some forest roads where the subarus couldn't make it. Not an off road vehicle but it will get you to decent camp sites. We'll probably keep it for a long time.Quote:
