That's a bummer, Belly. Dayum.
I wrecked my back yesterday, stayed home today. Found out I'm getting laid off my second job too...June 30th, lost the contract with the airport. Oh well, I gotta start getting this place ready for the market anyways. Sign might hit the yard in Aug. or Sept.
Howdy, and stuff.. a day later.
:)
Post Whore Thread Trivia time!!!!!!!
Who can tell me about this pattern of rocks used on the roof of this building?

The pebbles disperse heat, filter debris when it rains , act as an insulator and keeps the roofing material from blistering.
They also make great ammo for ones slingshot, while up there on a smoke break.
Anyone else?
Well, the main purpose of rocks, is the same as granules, and that is just to protect the asphalt layer beneath. I was seeing if anyone would pick up on the size difference. The perimeter rocks are about softball sized. That is so the wind won't pick them up and throw them off the building. The large rocks are placed where the wind coming over that parapet wall will create the lowest pressure. The wind blows hard enough and it will throw those smaller rocks right off the roof. Sky scrapers have damn near boulders on the roof, otherwise you can imagine the destruction of rocks being blown off the roofs of sky scrapers. They are tall enough that they experience different winds than everything else around would.
Hi, I'm here to whore it up and I brought presents.
