I'm gonna get to play at CRC this month.........and hot damn I'm looking forward to it. Been too long, and maybe I can get the kid to go with me so he can experience a shoot.

Getting Colorado as a duty assignment required this 5 month trip to Georgia first.

Mrs. Belly and the two fur-kids are set up in the Springs. I started my trip to Georgia as the moving van was pulling up to the house. I just spent the last year away from my family, missed a bunch of pretty significant events, and now I'm spending another 5 months away. It takes its toll. Over the course of our marriage, Mrs. Belly and I have spent about as much time apart as we have together.

FWIW, we only spent 6 months apart our first year and before kids, but I did miss my second son's birth. Military life does require some sacrifice. A strong partner makes it work.
