Going on ten hours now and literally all I have done is hold the glow plug button and hit the starter switch on that compressor. I feel like I've been out here for about fifteen hours.
No shots at anyone else but the NFC, the most lazy, unorganized agency in the USDA easy if not the whole fed system.
I think I could have read the whole thing today.
My busy work must be self generated and it's sometimes hard to get motivated unless I have to fix stuff for current or upcoming work.
Updating company/personal IP. Internal "Work Guides", tweaking project workbooks/formula's, etc. Trying to read/training materials or attend vendor webex's to keep up to date.
I actually did some customer work today and answered a few e-mails. For about 2 hours. Filled out my timecard for last week. Called Dish to upgrade my crappy crap gear since their software update broke everything. Spent the better part of the day on COAR, FB, a few other boards. Check e-mail 23 times. Tried to take a short nap, got up after 40 minutes.
Right now, I only have about 5 weeks of work in the pipeline for the rest of the year.
Attempted to use a pressurized setup to flush brake fluid. Cap had features that leaked fluid all over the place. Stopped and resealed the crap out of the cap. Need to try this again, and if it fails go to the pump and hold method.
I thought it looked to easy.
Ray, bring a bbq, a book and maybe a rifle next time.
Naw dammit....was running too close to departure time and dealing with the TSA BS...checking guns and all that crap.
Really really liked it down there though and will be returning for sure, probably this year and hopefully to put money down on something.
Well, as long as you didn't blow more than $400 bucks buying stuff.....you're good. :D
