Man sucks getting old, the stuff I'm doing now would take me about 8-10 hrs when I was in my 20's now takes me 3 damn days
Btw guys it's not "touch up if it's never be coated. Always start top down, ceilings, walls then trim. You can do trim first if you have a steady hand to get the cut line on the wall.
Last thing when you change colors do 2 coats because the one coat guarantee paint is bull shit
I agree....one coat paint is bullshit.
..
I've thought about putting my amp on the front porch and laying down some nasty licks and sounds that Music Man probably wouldn't appreciate.....but that would not make me the better man by any stretch.
It's a bitch to not be an asshole when it's warranted.
Well, sheet. 5280 allows shotgun, but only slugs that you can buy from them.
I wanted to test those rounds I got recently.
Redid daughters room. Went from stupid bright green to gray walls. one coat premium paints from Lowes did the trick. For edges and cutoffs I used the hairy pad with edge rollers thing. Thought it was a gimmick, but damn it worked very well on the cieling cutoffs. Always tape off the baseboards, more so the paint does not drip on them and the carpet. I use a piece of cardboard instead of drop cloth and just move it where I am rolling.
And yeah, it took several days.
Yea I use a shield under the trim when I'm cutting. I'll have to check out lowes because the Beher was BS. The only paint I have ever had any luck with is Benjermin Moore. I will swear by it any day of the week and twice in Sunday. When I was 18 a buddy of mine and I decided to start a painting company because let's face it everyone hates painting. Well we got hooked up with a couple Rotary members and mostly doing flat wall tenant finish (All brush and roll). This was prior to 9/11 And we were getting $1.25 sqft. Serous question has anyone on here brush and rolled 3 coat a 15,000sqft office suite in 15 days.......i have and it blows [ROFL1]
Ended up doing 8 years and the only reason we stopped was my buddy didn't want to take it to the next step and I said screw it and went back to school.......hindsight i should have just started my own company but I was and still am done with painting, just seems it's not done with me yet
Sorry tired and just started typing, hope the ho's had a good weekend!
