Nor did I say anything about an income tax. I believe that it stands to reason that the more simple a tax plan, the more people will pay. Without all the laborious loopholes and tricks and deductions, no one will have an opportunity to pay less taxes. The more complicated my taxes become, the more I appreciate loopholes that require effort on my part. We like to fantasize about a simple flat tax, relating it to the relatively low consumption taxes that are in place today, but the sales tax is only as low as it is due to all the other taxes. If there is nothing but a consumption tax, the government will make sure that all of the tax revenue will be made up in the new tax. So while a flat tax sounds nice at say 8%, does it sound as nice at 25%?
I don't know what the figures would be in order for the government to not lose tax revenue, but I have to imagine that none of us would like it. Further, what would it do to the economy and GDP? If the way to save money is to stop purchasing things, then prices will go up at the same time that the economy stalls.
I wouldn't mind paying taxes to the Gov in general if I KNEW they weren't pissing dollars away like a never ending faucet.

I think one major problem is there are too many folks living off the government in the first place, so they would never revolt. You have to have a job to pay taxes before you can bitch about it.
Can someone tell me there's hope that this country won't rely entirely on the Gov at some point in the future before I pass away?

Another bit of range time.
All my shots were about 5 inches up and right last week after putting on this handguard, so over the weekend I eyeballed adjusting my red dot. Took it back to the range today and it was 3 clicks right, 2 clicks up to center it. Had it done in one mag.
