Yogi the bear has been shot today in Jellystone Park, witnesses say they heard a "pop" sound, and found the bear lying halfway into a picnic basket.

Been just a few years since we last went to Yellowstone....used to go there all the time when we lived out there...

Wapiti campground is where we usually camp... last campground close to the park you could tent it, bears are a concern from that point and closer to the park east entrance

so much for 8-13 mph winds today. NWS missed that by a ton. 30 mph winds made for a very tough day in the field. 3 birds between 4 hunters. dogs struggled to find scent all afternoon. ugh. I came up empty handed.
