It's all I can do to even get the dog to lay down. She constantly follows them everywhere. Then they start running, then she follows faster, etc. One ran past her face in the garden the other day and she even nipped at it.

Two rooms on the left I did 1-2 years ago, AND in different directions. Going into the hall from the room on the right was interesting, because then I had to stop and work from the bathroom back down to where I already was. That proved a bit of an interesting challenge. The previously shown board can be seen here spanning the hall and touching two door frames at once. The frames are steel and go all the way down to the concrete, so no easy sliding underneath.

Nice work, Irving. You bein' The Man showing that floor who's the bitch...........And.......throwing in Chicken and Duck master all on top of it.
Keep rocking.
Thanks. For trying to rush the floor out, it's still taking me what feels like a long time. I guess with 8 door ways and trying to go backwards and trying to see if I could incorporate old work it's not too bad. I will say though, that I should have followed the suggestion in the directions and not followed a brick pattern like I did. It would have been a much more efficient use of materials and an equal amount of measuring. It also might have been easier to keep the floor looking random. I feel like I keep getting down to where I have only a few pieces left, and they are all the same damn three!
I did laminate flooring in my Denver house down in the basement. I had no idea what I was doing, but learned some stuff in the process. Folks that have seen it said it looked good, and at the same time, if faced with doing again, I'd do it differently but not for any major reasons.....but rather the finer points if that makes much sense.
Absolutely. I learned a ton. It kind of sucks doing things, but not frequently, because then you forget most of what you learned the next time you go to do it. For example, I came up with a snazzy way to measure angled door trim using a quick clamp and speed square, but when it is a year between each time you do it, you don't remember until half way through.
