I hear you Trot shits crazy expensive anymore. Wife and I were reminiscing about how a $100 could last us a week with food and gas.....memories....
I eat both Taco Johns, and Taco Bell.

Del Taco is good as well, except for the fact that they serve fries.
The explanation of why Mexican food is too expensive is total bunk as it applies to every single type of restaurant.
$9 for a bowl of noodles? F-off.
15 for a burger? Chomp on a dick.

Best Mexican food is the food I don't gotta make....that's why I pay for the convenience of a restaurant, but if I can find a taco truck I'll do that every time
Try either Arceos in the springs, almost as cheap as ff mexican, but a lot better. Never go away hungry either.
