The idea is to have people actually contribute to the site before gaining access to the trading post, so buy/sell thread posts, and the word game are eliminated so people don't just game the system.
That is what the The Post Whore thread is for.
My toe hurts a little bit.
I saw a dead calf today, it was still hog tied.
Guy at this farm installed all his porch lights upside down. There is another one to the left.

I was telling my buddy today, wouldn't it be funny if after all the hoopla about my van, I started rocking this instead? A truck this size must be commercially insured, but my van already is anyway.

Contrary to popular theory, there are folks who join with interests other than having access to the TP but I was certainly curious. After being given access I admit I eagerly browsed the titles but the mystique faded rather quickly. I posted a WTB ad for a non firearm item because people seem to have bins of traded up/down gear they don't use anymore. Unfortunately even as surplus, they still don't want to part with it; guess having a spare, spare, spare set might be useful at some point. Regardless, I'd rather spend my $ locally with individuals whenever possible. Unlikely that would count as a contribution to the site as much as supporting the local community.
No join judgement here, just explaining how things came to be. A while ago I was posting about if local shops would take used gun stuff, like the thrift store, but it didn't sound like it so I just threw stuff away. Which reminds me, I need to throw away more stuff.
I came from 6 days/week elementary education. When my parents moved to CA public school program, I was on 5days/week. I really liked it. 4days/week is just too little. Average corporate employees put 55-70hr/week, and 4days ain't going to train our kids. Oh, startups are even worse. It is like 80+hr. lol
