Now that's team spirit!

Rocky Mtn Recycling, 65th and Brighton Blvd. They want you to unload yourself but have the giant grapple that can reach in bed and lift stuff out and the guys working the yard are pretty decent.
I didn't uninstall it so I do not know how thoroughly it was drained. It's the first thing I'd plan to check, I imagine there's still going to be some water & sediment in it, its pretty old. Thanks for asking!
Dont have a schedule just yet, depends on how long it takes with traffic & loading.
If somebody down there has old style Warn winch type front bumper, I would be interested in it. Photos, condition, etc.
I know that I can make my own, and everyone who understands what that involves knows how much time that would take after getting all the steel. I'd rather buy one.
Yes......newer available options are significantly less than adequate unless I were a hipster with an FJ or a Jeep, or, if I was into sucking dicks.
Thank you. I'm currently not looking into PTO options at this point, but if you come up with an older style winch bumper for a mid '70s F 250, I'd be happy to do business .. :)
I did get my oil pump stuff today and I'll get that done tomorrow after work. I'll go pick up my flat bed trailer and the bed for the truck on Friday after work.
I hope there's enough umph in the trailer axles to make it to the shop....the bearings haven't been packed for years and the tires are questionable. If it can make it loaded for like 24 miles I'll be okay.
Had to hit the dentist today for 2 cavities. One in the upper left, one in the lower right.
Oh man, getting a full mouth of anesthesia would have sucked. When the doc came in, I asked if any were deep. He said one was a little deeper than the other but caught them both early. I asked if he would do it without numbing me up. He said sure, just raise my hand if I wanted to stop, and he went right to business. Wasn't fun during the actual drilling but wasn't bad. Only a couple minutes for each tooth, the rest of the work is pain free.
I know it's weird, but I had a much better overall experience getting a total of about 10 minutes of intermittent light to medium pain than 4-5 hours of a numb mouth, drooling all over, and biting my tongue over and over. I'm sure I'll get more cavities and as long as they're caught early enough, I'll do it this way again.
I've only ever been numbed for a root canal.
I had a root canal while the DMD & I listened to Metallica & Slayer; makes for a nice interaction when folks share interests. Really nice guy, great work. The assistant intentionally sounded like Butthead (& Beavis) when she said: huh huh you have a dental dam on your face. THAT sent me into a five minute giggle that had the entire office giggling with me. I was gassed & rockin out so it was actually kinda fun. YEP I'm weird.
So I noticed that some ahole dented and pushed in the bumper on my Suburban. Prick made a turn and contacted my bumper to the left of center while making a turn in a parking lot and kept turning, left a 2ft dent snd pushed the bumper pack about 2 inches. Second time someone dented my burb in a lot. How the f do you miss a suburban. Aholes.
I feel your pain (sorta).
Was it a white Ford pickup?
2 years ago, some douchknot door dinged the rear quarter on my truck pretty bad (IMHO), left white paint marks. I pretty much figured it was the same white Ford F150 pickup that moved up to the opposing end of a double length trailer spot and left an empty next to me, as it had the telltale signs of a serial dinger. I wanted to kick his fawking door in, but without someone actually seeing it though, WTF ya gonna do?
