I actually raised two from a couple of weeks of age until they were 6 months, then I relocated them. It was a hassle. Named them Bud & Alice.
& no, not to heaven.
I've probably killed hundreds of squirrels in my lifetime. Nothing like a good squirrel gumbo.
After those 2, I've never suffered another.
