Zinser BIN destroys KILZ but is EXPENSIVE. It also stinks to high heaven as it's shellac based.

However, it's the only thing that will cover up feline urine and many other persistent stains.

Washing walls with TSP is also effective at getting paint to properly adhere.

I think Nature's Miracle stuff works pretty well, but it does a different thing than Kilz. With an empty house and a little time, I'd probably use both, and one of those oxygen deodorizer things.

Anyone else here deal with a spouse, partner, co-worker...who is a trash can dumbass?

I'm talking about someone who would try and shove a pizza box or a full size cereal box into a half, or mostly full trash can...and just walk away like everything's okay with what you just did?

At least break the thing down and slide it down one of the long sides of the can liner, or if recycling is available where you live, break it down for that can.

I deal with this at home more than I should have to, and there's a guy at work who would put an unbroken parts box on top of a full can and go back to his facebook bullshit like the world was right.
