What are you drilling in trim? I always use a finish nailer. Think you can still use that with stain grade trim as well.

I don't do enough of that type of work to warrant buying a finish nailer. I predrilled because there have been times before working with wood, that the nail would split the work if I just banged it in. Thought about gluing it on, didn't want to do that.

I planned on 5 days of productivity, and got a bonus day. I'm tired as shit, but I can't complain about the opportunity for the extra time. Never hung a pendant light fixture before, so that was interesting to not screw it up.

I see what you mean. I absolutely pre-drill wood, especially thin stuff.
