Engineering Tech - Oil
[Company X] is an independent oil and gas company that acquires, exploits, develops and explores for crude oil, natural gas and natural gas liquids. We are currently seeking a Facilities Engineering Technician for our Denver office.
This position is responsible for performing technical support in the following areas:
Assist Engineers in data analysis and data extraction from Wonderware system
Assist Engineers with project scheduling/cost tracking and invoice processing
Develop and Maintain filing system for facilities group
Assist Engineers in developing and preparing project bid packages for submission.
Assist with pipeline regulations and maintaining compliance
Mapping pipelines and facilities in ArcGIS
Help populate and maintain databases
Work with several divisions of company to assist with projects
The ideal candidate would have a 4 year degree in a related field and 2 to 5 years of experience as an Engineering Tech. Experience with process equipment/piping systems and a background in math/science is preferred.
