I've make this so much I'm basically spot on with the liquids without measuring anymore, but I always still measure out the sugar... Too little sugar and it isn't true sweet tea; too much (more than 2cups) and the sugar will actually overwhelm the tea flavor and will also start to turn the tea more quickly (particularly in the warmer months). Then it's just nasty.
