It seems to be potentially one of the easiest solutions to a hording problem for sure. Especially from the perspective of a family member. Except for the bit about seeing Karl again, anyway.

Negotiating on services depends on the situation in play. There are situations where it is reasonable, and there are situations where it isn't.

(I generally expect some level of negotiation for my services with my customers. Less so for day to day things, but when I am building proposals for projects)...

I shudder to think how much my wife has in craft "stock."

Mostly because her recordkeeping sucks.

I love the purchasing people that get involved after having done business with the same client for umpteen years and then suddenly your fees are "egregious" because they're used to getting 10x larger projects that have so much pad in them at 50% less cost. LOLz
