The t-case flange had to be made anyways in order to do a CV rear shaft for my t-case. Also my t-case should be gone through as well due to it being 40 to 50 yrs old. I agree you really need to know wtf you're doing while assembling diffs. All that said, running 37 inch tires with 3:73 gears might not be in the ballpark for t-case gearing remedies in my t-case. I don't know.
Jim came out and saw what I had, I went with his recommendations. I feel bad leaving the guy hanging a bit, I'm better than that and it bothers me. I'm a bit under the gun regarding many things over the next two months alone. I really am trying to get all I can get done, as fast as I can with all the stuff going on.
