I used a double bubble foil over drop in panel inserts on mine.

I bought an insulated door.

To my credit, I did install it myself. Amazingly, it still works - except for having to replace the springs a few years ago - which I also (gasp!) did myself.

Messing with roll up door springs can be kinda creepy.

I replaced a broke spring once. Easier than I thought but was still a pain. Why creepy OBC?

Winding it up and missing the hole with the peg and ripping your face off maybe? Or having an "o shit" moment while at the top of a ladder maybe.

There's a lot of stored energy in those.

While I've done them before with the mumbly pegs, my current door has the built in winders so no harm to be done unless you are the type that gets their panties caught in a cordless drill.

What type is that again?
