You know, that actually makes sense!! [facepalm]

I switched out my fancy 45 safety selector for milspec yesterday. It was restricting the overtravel on my trigger to near nil & was messing with my mojo.
I don't care for mojo mussing.
I'll play with the sd-e as it was designed for the weekend & then decide if it's the right trigger for me. Least enough to move forward with it or not.
Fussy business fine tuning.
Oh & it stalled a few times. Likely from fouling as expected.
Can't have that. Ever.
Also decided to move my optic as far forward in the mount, & the mount as far forward on my reciever as possible. While back I moved to center the rifle on my chest just under my eye & it's a preferable alternative to what I was taught before. However, with that change in fundamentals I was head bobbing & wrenching my neck a bit trying to find the sweet spot for eye relief that stock adjustments just didn't manage. Got a bit of tuning to do there as well, eventually, but there was no sense in reinforcing bad posture without promised effect on progress.
Now I have my single point of index from which to rebuild.
All that said I need to zero my rifle today.
Big Ben tactical match is next weekend.
Hope the changes work out. Have fun at the range!
Yeah. I don't know what's up with me lately. . . I like the idea of everything but when it comes to the actuality I'm just not that into it.

You know what I mean. . . Wait all day, get there, order & once they finally arrive you're so excited to take that first bite. . .
& then you're immediately over it. The idea was better.
F*ck.
Off to the range now.
