A prosthetic has no muscle control. You can't snap it back or hold , say a squat, as it doesn't do that. It bends to point A with the ability to hold position. Standing is fine, which is a 180 deg angle. Once that "joint" breaks a 170-160 deg plane, there's no coming back.
