first .308 loads.
43gr? Why not? :D
Research, and because that's what I could efficiently throw with the gear I have.
Why 50? I'm confident in my process and I want to get rid of the pulls as they're an inconsistent lot and I've got to fiddle around to get consistent COAL. Fills up a box nicely too. :D
The loads I work up a ladder for are 15 per. Three five shot groups
Redding T-7 arrives today. I may have a lot of work ahead of me this weekend.
Cleaned a bunch of 45 brass. Time for a reloading session. Glad I have plenty of components for now.
This weekend I sized/deprimed, cleaned primer pockets and trimmed 1k 40 brass and to top off the fun I sized /deprimed 500 9mm brass on steel dies! Kicker is I don't shoot either of these calibers haha. While I was on a roll I sized 44mag/special brass that again I don't shoot. Next weekend it's 380, 38, 357 and more 9mm I don't shoot any of that either, but I'm stocked up on 45 gap and I haven't got more 45 auto brass yet. Guess I have to shoot so I can reload!
First time reloading.... I measured by hand the powder prob 5 times.... Measured the case after trimming prob 5 times.... Wrote down and reviewed the load data prob 10 times.... Measured OAL 10 times.
Loaded 7 rounds of 308. :)
Hey gotta start somewhere!!!
Yea I figure I have enough bad habits, might as well start some good ones.
Still need to come up and see your massive setup I've always heard about
