Stopped in their shop on Tuesday afternoon, as we were passing through Hays. Could have picked one up for you..

Not very big, but a good selection of arms. Expected a few more accessories and ammo, but not a bad shop for a town the size of Hays. Friendly staff.

The only problem I don't like about that one is that it requires those pins to hold it in place. I would think that the pins can easily be misplaced.....With the one from Raven Concealment, it just snaps in place, no need for pins to hold it in and stays on tight. It takes me a bit of force to pull it off the upper......Either way, great idea for like if someone were to have maybe one lower and multiple uppers or who transports the upper and lower separate like I do.

Either one is a good choice. I have a JB style unit from brownells.

If you haven't had a burger from Kenosha Cafe (on the west side of US 285 in Grant) you're missing out on quite possibly the best burger in Colorado. HUGE hand shaped pattie, Brioche bun, whatever fixins and cheese you choose, cooked the way you like it:

I believe that Black Dog Machine are the manufacturers of the 'JB style'. I have several of the them for around the shop. They are handy when working on a lower with the upper leaned against the wall. I hate it when I'm handling an upper and I hear the sound of a bolt going clunk as it hits the floor. I have drilled a couple holes in the covers to hold the pins when not in use.

The $10 looks like it might be better for field use. Looks like a better seal and no pins. I might pick up one or two.

Got started on some fencing. Now I just need to build a gate to close off the back yard. Then save up for the rest of the fence for the front. Went together pretty quickly.
