Tried going; drove around the parking lots trying to find a place to park the truck, then got a whiff of some food and got distracted. ..maybe tomorrow.

No wonder parking was non-existant: fuggin pothead expo is going on next door. Hoppes and Patchouli oil..what a combo. Done on purpose?

I tried going today. Got as far as thinking about it and decided against it and just stayed home.

I was getting ready to go to the gun show today and saw the show is competing with the dope show in the adjoining area of the merchandise mart. Tanner will have to wait until the next show for my money now. Guns and dopers don't mix.

Thought I found a real nice deal on a CZ 1911A1, but the rear sight was moving around in the dovetail if you breathed on it wrong. Another Tanner come and gone with very little of interest.

Went for a ride on the motorcycle instead today, now going to get my 3 yr old grandson for the rest of the day-beats going to Tanner lol

Agreed, popped in yesterday for a bit. I actually need some stuff but same shitty deals as usual, went in with a pocket full of cash and left empty handed.

Since I only stop by every several years I think I forget how shitty it is until I go again.

TANNER was a very busy show!
I could barely move away from our tables.
There were a lot of customers who came over from the INDO Expo,,many of them were open carrying handguns.
That is a CASH business and so the owners have many concerns about security.

I was fortunate to find a great deal on a Russian re-work Luger (BYF 42) all major parts match.
It was stuck in with some used regular modern pistols and so I ALMOST missed it!

Bumping! Tanner this weekend.

My Wife and I were set up at the TANNER show this past weekend.
OK day on Saturday, Sunday was not good, overall attendance looked lower.
I saw some good buys on all sorts of stuff!
I made a great purchase of a Model 103 High Standard Sport King in excellent condition, it was even clean!
Those old HS pistols have such nice triggers.
Its a definite keeper, I owned a HS Dura-matic back during High School and this is nicer than that gun.
A friend bought an original COLT AR15 scope for $200, and I saw one of the later compact EO-Tech scopes sell for that same price.
