    Default CO hunting clubs?

Anybody here a member of any hunting clubs in Colorado? Or have any experience/knowledge of any?

I need places to hunt before I croak, and joining a club for properties access seems like a reasonable solution. Looking for reviews and recommendations please. Fishing would be a bonus too.

I don't know any, but it sounds like a great idea to me, too.

What kind of clubs are you looking for? I am a member of a waterfowl hunting club - geared towards goose.

I would also be interested to hear from someone who is in a club geared towards other game.

Good point - deer and elk hunting.

I used to be a memeber to High Plains Sportsman club. They lock up thousands of acres all across the state and in neighboring states as well. They get everything from goose, duck, deer, elk and fishing ground leased up. You usually have to reserv a piece of ground months in advance but I took a few antelope and shot a lot of pheasant on their properties. Some of the parcels are smaller but they provide access to public ground that might be other wise hard to get to. I last renewed back in 2012 and I think the annual dues were somewhere around $750. I know the dues have went up but whatever the rate is when you join is the rate you pay as long as you continue to renew each year.

The one I'm interested in is Colorado Outdoor Sports. Anybody know anything about it?

I don't know much about hunting clubs themselves, but High Plains sportsman's club has some amazing ranches down here tied up. Going to the wildlife areas, we have to drive through those properties, and they are usually loaded with deer and elk.

If you are looking for fishing, there is a place out near Weldona called Tomky fish farms that is a nice set up. Not a member but have taken the kids on free fishing day and it seems really nice.

If you are looking for waterfowl, I would have to see if there are any open spots, I think it is a 4 man group, little pricey but some of the best access you will find anywhere on the front range. PM me if interested and I’ll talk to my friend to see if they are looking for another group.
