The land is great. House needs some work before we move in (scrape popcorn ceilings, paint wood paneling, new flooring). I ripped out all the carpet in prep for EVP. Here’s a mock up of what it will look like with the EVP inside.

Kitchen is already painted. Living room needs paint.

Definite deer activity on property. Oklahoma is a tagless hunting state when it comes to your own property, so I could theoretically just go hunt anytime during the proper season without having to have a tag.

About 9 acres pasture, 8.5 woods, and 2.5 “yard”.

I’ll be looking to get a small tractor soon.

Make sure you test the popcorn ceiling for asbestos before you scrape it.

I'd still make sure it has been tested.

I hope the drywall contractor does a better job than the fence guy. Sheesh.

I absolutely love harbor freight. I know they sell cheap stuff but it works great for me. I bought one of their 300 piece tool kits over two years ago and broke a few, lost a few and needed to replace them. I walked in with my receipt and the broken tools. The lady told me to get new ones off the shelf and that the receipt was not needed for warranty items. I also bought the replacements that I lost and a pick-set all for less than $8 OTD. 20% coupon and my free flash light .

    $2.49

    $1.99

$2.99 - Only needed one to replace the lost one but for $3, who cares.

I needed the pick-set in order to remove a coil boot that got stuck on one of the plugs that I was changing on the Tundra. Thankfully O'Reilly's had some in stock since it ripped and no one else in town did.

Lastly - One of these insta-pot things. A friend told me about it and I am impressed. It made my meal prep so dang easy! 5lb of chicken breast done in 15min is insane. 3lb of potatoes done in 12min.

Put a little dielectric grease on the new spark plugs so you won’t have any boots stuck next time.
