We finished the whole series just recently. I really like where they take the concept, but certain things start to really bug me by season 3. I don't think you'll feel like you wasted your time if you watch the whole thing.

I've heard Season 2 is weak, but 3 is better. I need more Dolores.

Speaking of weak seasons, did anyone here ever watch season 3 of True Detective or season 2 of Altered Carbon?

Absolutely a waste of time. It's too bad they went in the direction they did. Instead of following along S1 line.

I've heard that, but I'll probably watch someday when I've got nothing else to do. I end up watching all kinds of stuff that isn't great.

Totally unrelated, I like The Repair Shop. It's a British repair show where people bring in old and broken stuff to be repaired. Kind of like the gentle British feel of the show, compared to the US shows where everything is a competition. Speaking of which, I've heard of a ton of people loving Forged in the Fire but I watched one episode and that was enough for me. I might have to give it a second chance some day.

Finally got annoyed at the suggestions on netflix and binged up to current on Shameless. Good show.

Season-2 of Altered Carbon sucked.... at least through ~3.5 episodes. I couldn't finish episode 4, it was that bad.

Season-5 of Expanse was weak, IMHO. Not as good as season-4. If season-6 isn't much better, I'm calling it quits.

I keep hearing good stuff about Expanse. I'll have to watch.

What good comedy specials are out?

Define "comedy" in todays triggered, pc, feels, world. Comedy is neither funny, or comedy.

There may be a chuckle or 2 in the mix. But, even the days of eddie murphy, kevin hart and Chappelle are long gone. Forget about an ADC, Rickles, or Carlin.
