Made Mrs bo some very good authentic Jambalaya this evening.

She had been reluctant and a little disinterested in the past. Only because the Cajun and Creole food she had previously were not authentic.

She was apologetic after dinner this evening, and asked me to make the rest of the recipes I learned during my time on the bayou as a young man.

Life has been beating us up this past year. Wife's breast cancer made a return visit to one of her lungs after 7 years. She has surgery on Tues.

Messed up my knee to the point I have to get around on a rolling walker and the ortho doc says it'll take 15-18 months to heal, but I've noticed no progress since October of last year.

...but I still have both of my feet, so I guess I'm doing OK.

The shots in my spine are supposed to help me feel my feet again, we'll see. Right hand after all those procedures has been numb for over a month now. I don't know what the hell is going on or what will work.
