Me and my buddies have been out there several times in the last couple of months. Only issue we've ever had is it is the pawnee, and the weather can go from awesome to suck in a matter of minutes.
And when you say shoot steel are you talking steel core or steel cased? The fires last year were mostly caused by steel cased ammo, the rangers have been out patrolling and asking people not to use it. We have been contacted every time we've been out by one, no problems as we're running brass, just wanted to give you a heads up on that. They've always been very polite but they do have to worry about that kind of thing.

If your post count is higher than your round count, you are a troll.

Went today out to the shooting are off of CR 88 and Hwy 14. It was cleaned up nicely and had a new sign prohibiting shooting at junk.

you must have gone early. the wind really picked up this afternoon.
I was out there this past Friday and the sign was still in one piece. I put a magazine threw my new build, said screw this wind and went home.

I was out there last weekend, it's good to go indeed. It was my first time out there, lots of people out there, very unorganized (obviously). You never know what direction anyone is shooting.

But wow what a great place. We picked a spot by ourselves and shot to 450 meters easy. I only saw a small portion of the area, but it looks like endless places to setup shop.
