Sunday Coyotes

I have a coyote skin (from a yote that I didn't shoot) on my coffee table - in fact, it's right next to my feet right now.

I thought I'd include a pic (of the yote skin, not my feet) so you'd see it isn't quite as barberic as it sounds.

Could you hunt coyote effectively with a bolt action or lever action gun? Is .308 too much? I'd really like to go hunting but don't have a rifle yet. Oh yeah, nice board guys. I've been wasting my time over at arf.com all this time.

Well, we’re happy to have you here. I plan to use a Ruger M77 MkII (.223 Rem, Bolt) or maybe even a Model 77/22 (22LR ~ with subsonic 22LR rounds, or my 22 Hornet version, both Bolt).
