Shooting area new Crested Butte?

Headed up there for a family trip and would like to give the kids a chance to do some plinking. Anyone know where there's a good place we can shoot on public land?

You might want to call the forest service for the area, shooting may be banned for the fire danger. Harris Park is closed for that reason.
