Agreed...no badger is going around and breaking a cow femur. But holes can sure break a femur if it is stepped into. This the is main reason why prairie dogs are such a pest. Badger holes are a bit bigger.
Sorry, but I don't see a badger even eating a dead cow. Badgers mostly eat earth worms, grubs, insects, etc. They can be mean, but that doesn't mean they will eat like a chupacabra.
