    I found this project last week. It uses a steel kitchen canister from Wally world ($18 for a set of 4) as the body. Looks to be nice and light for winter backpacking.

    Nice stoves.

    I like the ammo can idea but aren't the walls a little thin?

    Check out this stove. From the video, it appears to be a difficulty level 1 when it comes to assembly and operation.
