Wasn't sure where to put this, but wanted to share an awesome experience I had with Otterbox.

I picked up a defender case for my new droid the other day, and after a day of use immediately fell in love. Now Otterboxes aren't for everyone, and there are even times I prefer the phone sans case, but for the most part I like some heft and a solid feel, and if you don't mind using the belt clip, size isn't an issue.

Now to my original reason for posting. As I was using my GPS I got this idea to be able to mount the belt holder to my dash and then did so temporarily with velcro.

I knew I didn't want to ruin my only belt holder, so I emailed Otterbox to see if I could purchase just the belt holder from them. The CS rep said they didn't sell just the belt holder, but since my original one would be altered to the point of not being able to be used for it's original purpose, he'd send me a whole new case and belt holder, at no charge to me!

I had to send pics of my case, as proof that I actually owned one, but otherwise it only required a couple emails, and I have my tracking confirmation the next day.

I wanted to share this for a couple reasons. Most importantly, because they were kind enough to give me more than I asked for, so the least I can do is give them a shout out. Secondly, I think it's a good indication of how their customer service and warranty is. Don't hesitate to deal with Otterbox!
