    Default Quick Draw Archery

    http://www.quickdrawarchery.net/

Ok, I walked into QDA to see what they were about. Well, to my surprise, I met Bob and his son/daughter running the counter. First off, mom and pop stores are my fav, and to see this made me feel at home. So Bob looked over my problematic peep site, and had it resolved in about 2 minutes. This completely blew me away as I was fully ready to buy a new string and peep. Bob was on the ball and had me fixed up and ready to go just like that. The range is very clean, and open. I didn't shoot it, but I walked it and can't wait to go back there. Over all, they had the top end bows that I like, a good selection of hardware, and am very excited to go back.

    viva la QDA.

Thanks Buckshot for the kind words. I have only one thing to add.....IF you really love the AR-15 you will love the TAC-15 from PSE Archery. It is a cross-bow that uses the lower of the AR-15's. It uses the same trigger and safety. It loads using a ratchet handle and unloads the same way (You do not need to shoot it to unload). All the while it shoots a standard size arrow at the incredible speed of 400 fps. It is a bit nose heavy (adds 7.2 pounds to the AR) but comes standard with a BI-Pod, case and scope. It gets its speed from a 17.25 inch power stroke. Total length (unmounted) is 34.75 inches. Your question is? Yep the cost.......$1299.95

Thanks for the heads up. I have been to a couple of different local shops. One was a great experience and the other was okay.

I have heard of QDA through their spamming of Craig's List. I will still give them a try.
