That is how I'm looking at it. I saw far too many on doomsday preppers with a narrow mindset about what may happen down the road. If their ideal disaster strikes, they may be ok. If something else happens, many if not most of them are screwed. You need to have a plan to dig in where you live, evac to a different place, whether locally or regionally. Food, water, fuel, and medicine are the big things, along with a means of communications. You'll also want a means to defend what you have, as well as aquire what you need. May sound harsh, but there are plenty of sheep out there, who may decide to try and be wolves when/if something bad happens. If you know what to do, they will remain sheep to the real wolves.
