    ya know I keep hearing people call them greasy, but I have yet to ever had a wild goose be "greasy" of course I filet the meat out of the birds, and never cook them whole. My biggest problem with cooking the meat is that it has NO fat, and easily dry's out.

    same thing here. I usually cut it up and put it into a stew. even then it still tastes dry to me.

    It isn't my favorite meat so i usually give it to family members who really like it, but it is edible!

    I've had plenty of greasy duck... but never a greasy goose
