    Sadly, it's not just 'shelf stable food'. I was at a neighbors home for dinner last night and the wife made a fantastic dinner....right up until the husband insisted (prior to it being served) that it needed 'more salt'. It'd have been perfect prior to that but his taste-buds needed yet more - I could have float a yacht on that sodium.

    At that point you balance diplomacy with dietary concerns.
