Out at steps' house they are so numerous that they mow down all the grass and leave nothing for the horses. Last year we didn't shoot many so they turned his pasture into a dirt lot. This year they have been controlled a bit so there is actually some green out there.

I'd say! In fact, I hope to "control" some more with my new 22-250!

Those lil bastards bite, and bite hard. I've seen em mow down grass like none other. Worse yet, wait till you have 200 head of cattle + calves in the winter, and a pack of yotes work em over a pdog town. You'll lose one or 2 because they step in a hole and break their leg when they run...Figure a calf is around 2k$ Heifears at bearing age can go around 4k. Now, couple that, with that's what feeds your family is your livestock breeding program, plus that piece of land has lost over 40% of it's grazing capability because of those lil man eating varmint cong and you have a perfect recipie for getting rid of em.

I also forgot to mention they taunt you every time you check fence and the cattle...Now, if you go one on one with one, here's what you get....

And even the japanese have had to the learn the hard way...

Today's highlights included multiple head shots with the furthest at about 250 yards, a 320 yard kill stolen by a hawk before I could take a photo of it, multiple close quarter kills within a few seconds of each other, a 225 yard somersault, and a tiny bunny vs a .22-250 bullet at 25 yards! All three of my guns contributed, (.22 LR, .223, .22-250), but the .22 bagged the most today. Surprisingly.

Crawled out from under my rock.

Y'all hear about the uproar here in Parker? There was a big p-dog town in the middle of Parker and somebody hired exterminators to gas 'em. Nobody knows who hired them, it's a big mystery. But all the local rat lovers made little crosses out of popsicle sticks and tongue depressors painted white and put them on all the empty rat mounds. Awwww. And there was an article in the Parker Weekly Wipe about the one, lonely survivor all alone there, looking for his family and friends. Awwww. They didn't go anywhere, they're all rotting and stinking down in the tunnels!
There's a lot more of us ugly mf'ers out here than there are of you pretty people!
