Today was a great day to pop fuzzies! The only issues were A) the mud, and B) the wind after 1pm. Otherwise I bagged (9) Pdogs, (1) bunny, and something that left a trail of blood behind as it crawled back into it's hole to die, all in about (3) hours! The hawks were also quite happy as you can see from the last Pdog that they got to before I could I take a decent picture! The closest shot was at about 200 yards, the rest were at about 250. Well worth the trip!

Forecast was partly cloudy with a high of only 32 degrees today, but I doubt it ever got above 26. Still, If the sun comes out, the pdogs come out, and so will I. Bagged (5) for the hawks to dine on, including this 342 yard headshot with my .22-250.

I took 6 today just north of Strasberg with my AR. I should have had at least 8. I'll have to get pictures next time. Never get tired of smoking prairie dogs, they are great eating.
That's far enough pilgrim......You're molesting my hunt!

Nice shooting Randy !! Been a few years since I put the bead on a dog town. To bad the bunny wasn't a head shot.

Yeah. He was wasn't very big. In fact, at that distance, I actualy thought it was just another pdog until I walked up to it. You might have gotten a few nuggets out of him tops!
