    The first few runs of woobies had head holes cut in them. Everyone complained and most sewed them shut. you can still find a proper poncho liner once in a while. I also use mine a lot and never with a poncho.

    Hill People Gear Mountain Serape. way more versatile than a poncho liner.
    They're a Colorado business as well.

    The Rat nailed it. The Kifaru woobie is spendy but worth every penny. I have one in my fly away bag and use another every night at work. Of course I still have several of the issued versions too.

    Funny. When I was in the Army, we called them "poncho liners". Never heard the term "woobie" until this morning.

    But then again we called Marines "track grease".
