    Default Canning store bought food?

Is there any benefit to canning store bought fresh vegetables and fruit? Obviously easier to buy canned and probably cheaper too?

No, canning store bought food is actually cheaper and healthier than buying it canned, especially when you're talking goods like beans and lentils. Canning produce purchased from farmer's markets is even more economical.

Look for the local farmers markets on the weekends or search out the nearest "Sprouts" store. You'll pay more for lesser quality GMO produce at the big grocers.
