Default shooting a 20" bolt 223 at 500 meters with a new Hornady bullet

Got a new box of 75 gr Hornady BTHP's thought I'd try 25 grains of Varget. Shoots fairly well, here's a little video shot at 500 meters on steel.

    Here you go

Cool... now place up some clay pigeons out there. 1 shot per target... and then play so more at those darn P-Dog matches...

Looks like you had a blast.

    Tons of fun shooting steel,
After the video I have a guy up north make me a 5" target made out of AR400, makes it a little more challenging but the 223 was doing ok with it. As you can see someone was enjoying the Clay Pigeons before I got there

Very cool! Having 3 or 5 of those 5" targets at different ranges outside of the hundreds (ei: 215 yards, 380 yards, etc...) would be extremely fun having to dial in after every shot.

Yea.. yea... I know.. I know.. I need to get my shoot on, ugh....

My thoughts exactly on the targets!

glennski, we took the other one we had built at the same time and ran it at a 1000 yards a couple weeks ago, shot very well, better than we are for sure!
