Coyote lisence URGENT!

*****disregard******Real quick guys! Does anyone know if I can take a coyote on public land with out a furbearer/coyote license, BUT I have a big game licence for this upcoming season 09. I seem to remember that you can take coyotes with a big game licence on public land if you are in possession of a valid big game licence that is not filled. Why I ask is I just got invited to blast a coyote (or try) one last time before I bail out of CO. I don't want to buy another licence if my 09 big game is gonna work. NEED INFO ASAP! I looked on CO DOW website but it didn't stand out to me. Anyone know?

Yes you can, but it has to be during the big game season. This is from the 2008 small game regulation book.

You can hunt coyotes without a license in big game seasons if

you have an unfilled big game license for the same season and unit.

You must use the same method of take for coyotes as your big game

license allows.

A small game license is $21 plus stamps. I always buy the combofishing/smallgame license for $45. But I see your leaving the state soon so a 1 day smallgame license is $11.

Or find permission on private land and shoot away.
