A number of companies make (radio) pouches, I thought I'd post a photo of the 5.11 version in case anyone might need this kind of thing and wants to see how they look next to a typical 2M radio:

I have too few hours on them to comment just yet. I am far more familiar with some of the older Kenwood 2M offerings. From the reading I did prior to buying these, they seemed like a good balance of quality/features/price but the main thing that pushed me toward them was that they will transmit with their full 5w on AA's, not just their OEM rechargeable like many of their competitors. I considered the VX-7R due to it being essentially waterproof but it won't (according to my research) give a full 5W's with AA's and I don't like being city-utility dependent to recharge batteries.
