Blemished barrels

So this is a review from a couple of my friends that ordered these barrels. I have and always will believe that when you buy a barrel or any other part, make sure it comes from a well known manufacturer or distributor. Pictures up momentarily.
Received "blemished" barrel from arplatformparts.com. I ordered blemished knowing full well the finish would have blemishes, but it was advertised as fully functional. (Aside the obvious destruction on the finish, the threads wouldn't function either, I attempted to put a brake on it, just for S&Gs, no go). There's no way this barrel is functional, unless functional means the bullet will simply go through the barrel. With all the pitting, it would be dust by the time it got to inch #16.
I emailed the owner and the response was basically "Well I have guys shooting 3gun with my barrels and they do just fine, but I'll send you a return label and when I get the barrel, I'll issue a refund" Well, hate to say it, but 3 gun isn't exactly about pin point accuracy, it's about shooting fast. Hunting and 3gun are very different. I normally don't buy cheap, because i prefer to "buy once cry once" especially when it comes to firearms, but I wanted to help out the little guy. As a small business owner, I know the struggle to get recognition. I cannot recommend using this barrel, or this company.
Thankfully I got a refund, but I see refunds going by the wayside once the company realizes that they're about to lose a lot of money. DO NOT BUY THIS BARREL
