Not many people want to buy something that someone else has taken apart and failed to put back together. It kinda makes a potential buyer wonder if there may be some underlying issue why you haven't assembled it.

My guess is if you pulled all the ads, put it together, had everything functioning, it'd go away fairly quickly.

Projects are just hard to sell, especially for a decent price. And the fact it was your former trail toy adds pucker factor too.

Pull the ad, wait a week and post it for $500.00 more.
You would be amazed how well it works.

This^^^ in a tight economy people want something reliable and economical not something they have to worry about or put time and money into to make it run right. I think you have a nice rig but it is winter here in Colorado and most people would like to buy a 4x4 that has functioning 4x4. Also, mods don't increase the price of the car/truck. Maybe to the right person but to an average person it actually lower the sales price.

I'll inject a little honesty here. No offense meant and this is not a jab at you in any way.

That thing looks like a total pile of crap.

Perhaps a price adjustment would help?

edit- perhaps "total pile of crap" was a bit harsh. Just looks like there are body parts missing (front bumper?), maybe some damage to one of the front fenders, the wheels and tires don't look like a very good fit for the vehicle, etc. And, if I am understanding it correctly, there isn't a front differential in the vehicle as it currently sits.

Also check you kbb price quote. When I did a quote in "fair condition " no 4x4,dents, carpet.... It trade vale was 1900 and the private party sales price ranged from 2200-3100. So half of KBB price would be around $1400

I probably would only pay $1000 for that thing. It needs work that a lot of people can't do or wouldn't do. If the diff or anything else is messed up the price is not even worth it at all.
