    Default OTF Knife Legality?

Looking to possibly purchase an OTF combat knife with 4.6" blade. Can I carry this LEGALLY along with my gun if I have a CCW or is the permit for guns only?

If not, would anything change if it was issued by the military? Thanks.

Not allowed. Specifically not allowed by CRS. Unless it's being carried ON DUTY for strictly duty reasons.

Which means.... You better be in full uniform if you get caught.

And, in reference to the CCW question, all the permits in Colorado "should be" labeled "concealed HANDGUN permits" and not "concealed weapon permits".

I use to carry a combat troodon. Honestly I think it's the most useless knife, not very sturdy and I spent so much I was scared to cut anything. After the cool factor wore off I realized I wasted $450 and could have boughten a rifle/pistol. Sorry back to it, I'm pretty sure it wasn't legal, a friend that is a cop never said that I shouldn't carry it. Not much help sorry.

I'm glad I didn't need to be the first to opine that, thanks.

Just telling my experience with one. Some people don't think that way I'm sure. If I had dump trucks full of cash I wouldn't be worried about abusing a $400+ dollar knife.

As a fighting knife.... Good knife.

As an every day tool.... eh.
