Need Some Help Organizing/Donations/etc

Hey Guys,
March 17-20 I'm trying to organize an event for my middle schoolers. Basically, I'm having the Appleseed Project come out and talk about our history and heritage as a nation. Then on that Thursday (March 20th) I'm wanting to have a live fire event (.22LR). I've contacted Boy Scouts, NRA, and other groups but am having a hard time acquiring .22lr rifles and ammo for this event. Also, the most important part: We need a range. I am trying to find an indoor range as we are not sure if there will still be snow on the ground at that time. I found two just south of the school but they are both shut down. There is one in Pueblo but we can't "reserve" lanes for the event.... There will be about 40 kids in two groups of twenty.

Looking for SO's/RO's/Volunteer and just general thoughts on how to go about getting this going. We have the basic outline of the classroom portion, but I'm lost on getting the one day of live fire going...

Some of you guys with experience doing this, help? I have another thread on here somewhere...

Contact AlohaShooter he's involved with the Scout shooting sports in the Springs.

Is the OTC still down there? They may have some .edu friendly programs?

We had a hell of a time getting our troop through for their merit badges. I had to beg for ammo in the wanted section of the TP and grab some inflated priced stuff at a gun show to cover even 250 rounds per scout. The shoot was done at Colorado Rifle Club.

I'm looking for a place down by the school though... South Pueblo area.

On the ammo... I don't know what to do. Hopefully more stuff free's up after the 1st.

OTC is in teh Springs, wouldn't help me or we'd be spending all our money on bus fees... although if it's indoor and they have a program, it might be worth it. I'll look into it.

I would be happy to let you borrow a standard 10/22 I have.

I'll donate a couple 500 rd boxes of 22 blazer I have for the event, contact me if you need em and when it gets closer to the event.
