Morning. I live in Eldorado Springs and just can't find anywhere to shoot. I would LOVE to join you on your next visit to the BRC as a guest, I'll pay the guest fees and even contribute some ammo. I'm friendly, easy going, father of 3.

If nobody contacts you I suggest checking out their competition schedule. Those are open to the public. It won't be quite the same as checking it out on a casual day but you'd be able to see the facilities and I'm sure somebody would be happy to fill you in on the place and possible membership if that's your goal. I haven't made it up there in a while but I enjoyed it when I did.

I went to the presentation to the board of directors last night. They are admitting what sounded like 100 members. In my group of 26 last night we ranged from 10 to 12 years on the waitlist. Bad or inaccurate contact information is a big problem for them so yes, you should take the time to make sure they have your proper information.

The BRC took in 21 new members at the January monthly meeting. There could be a few more latecomers but I doubt very many.

This is the most new members getting the gate combo in the five years that I have been a member. I was on the WL for 8 years when I got in 5 years ago. As has been noted, the WL is now 10+ years.

Regular Membership is capped at 800 or so, and slots open up as existing members do not renew for some reason, or turn 65. At 65 one becomes a "senior member" and this opens up a WL slot. The Senior Memberships are uncapped, and are limited only when these folks choose not to renew, or take a dirt nap.

If you're on the WL and want to know your place in the queue, send the Secretary (secretary@boulderrifleclub.com) a nice email he will let you know.
